There were 13 of us on this Pulua Ubin Trip. They are Jason, Florence, Ziqing, Pei Shan, Joycelyn, Kristie, Steven, Guo Qiang, Chin Sun, Xiang Ming, Hwee Kiat, Yu Jiang and Yih Dar. Though the cycling at the island was tiring but I believed that all of us enjoyed the greenary and of course the company of one another.
Not forgetting, the abrupt rain at 3pm, which one of the inhabitant of Pulau ubin forecasted stopped all cycling activities on the island because it rained very heavily. You can see that some part of the road are flooded. Did the rain drenched our mood? No man! They began throwing my sandals out into the rain, and I have to pick it up. There is one interesting happening during the period of the rain. One of the visitor dropped his slippers while running in the rain, and guess what, the slipper floated on the running rainwater which leads to the drain! No matter how we shouted at the person who lost his slipper that 'YOUR SLIPPER IS FLOATING AWAY!' he just don't seemed to get the message, haha in the end, i think the slipper went down the drain into the open sea.
Carrying on, I am not sure what yu jiang they all were playing then, just knew that Yu Jiang's forfeit was to ride a bicycle in the rain from a van quite a distance away and back to the shelter. He was all wet when he came back. wahaha, hope that he won't succumb to any flu virus.
Anyway, we continued cycling after the rain stopped, it was fun and enjoyable riding through muddy puddles and splashing the water all around you when you cycled...I think you freshmen out there should join us one day on the pulau ubin trip to experience a while. This was also when Hwee Kiat buang when he went down a slope and he was cut all over...poor hwee kiat...wish him get well soon.
